Seybold - Anna Lora

Source: Crawfordsville Weekly Review, March 5, 1881

Anna Lora, only daughter of George and Wilmena Seybold, of Waveland, Indiana was born Oct 6, 1879 and died at the home of her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Silas Peterson of Potato Creek, Feb 27, 1881. Little Lora, thought but some 16 months old was a lovely child-smart, bright and pretty-a general favorite with all, and loved most tenderly by parents, grandparents and avery large circle of friends and relatives. But she is dead to this life and gone to live in a better land. "A very large circle of relatives and friends at Waveland, Potato Creek and elsewhere deply sympathize with the young parents in this deep addiction (?). The funeral discourse was delivered at the residence of Silas Peterson Monday Feb 28, by Rev. JE Steele of the ME Church to a large attendance after which the remains were interred in the Peterson Cemetery. She was too precious and pure for this world of sin so God took her to a better land." -- kbz
